World Health Organization (WHO), the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) and the Food and Agriculture of the United Nations (FAO) has officially announced the end of their vision intermediate dog rabies in 2030 who used the solution of our humanity.


Late last year, WHO, OIE and FAO organized a conference in Switzerland to share their vision of eliminating rabies in 2030 by cloning methods, including mass vaccination of dogs facts of life .

The conference is also supported by our partner Global Alliance for Rabies Control (GARC), represent major steps forward so far for global protection of dogs from rabies programs and brutally murdered.

To eliminate rabies in humans, need to focus on the elimination of dog rabies. 95% of cases of human rabies transmitted through dog bites. a better life for dogs helped campaign proved that mass dog vaccination is the only way to do this, and should be made a priority.

CEO Steve McIvor our, who presented at the conference, said,

This evidence was presented at the conference in Geneva and provide the foundation for shared global vision of the OIE, WHO and FAO.

World Animal Protection will continue to work with intergovernmental organizations, governments and local organizations to ensure that mass vaccination is the only way leading to eliminate rabies.
